ADB is a multilateral development finance institution established in 1966 and is owned by 63 members, mostly from the region.

ADB, through the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD), is providing direct assistance to the Project through a loan of US$ 37.3 million. In addition to ADB’s role as a lender the Project has greatly benefited from the expertise and guidance of the Private Sector Finance team and their unwavering support for the project despite the trials and tribulations of the long development process.
