AON, appointed as insurance advisor to the Project, is one of the largest power brokers in the world having offices in more than 600 cities in 135 countries around the globe. Further credentials include:

• The only international broker in Pakistan with full fledged presence and offices including well-trained and experienced staff with a close knowledge of local environment, conditions and laws;
• AON has substantial experience of the power sector and have been involved in about 12 power projects (IPPs) in Pakistan;
• AON local team is closely working with its London Power Team, which is a dedicated industry focused group acting as the center for independent power projects expertise within AON. This team will be responsible for all aspects of the “core insurance” required for the power risks;
• Being one of the largest power brokers, AON has tremendous bargaining power, experienced survey engineers and positive and proactive claims management approach.
